Let's dive into what our statistics have shown based upon current + upcoming bookings.

Welcome to October, the reigning champion of wedding months! That’s right- move over June! With an impressive 22.5% of weddings taking place during this time, October captivates the hearts of couples everywhere. But what makes this month so irresistibly charming? Picture this: the air is crisp and refreshing, leaves paint the landscape in hues of amber and gold, and the sun sets in a warm, romantic glow. October effortlessly combines the cozy nostalgia of fall with the lingering warmth of summer, creating the perfect backdrop for your celebration of love. Couple are booking their HMU team early for this month (sometimes over a year!).

But wait—September, November, + May aren't far behind, each capturing between 11.25% and 15% of bookings. September whispers promises of the last summer days, offering pleasant weather without the sweltering heat, an ideal time for outdoor ceremonies + garden receptions. November, with its soft embrace of early winter, invites an intimate atmosphere with its promise of festive cheer + cozy gatherings. Meanwhile, May stands as a gateway to summer, blooming with vibrant florals + invigorating sunshine. Have you notice what a big factor weather is? Depending on your region this couple make September more popular than May avoiding spring thunderstorms or May more popular than September avoiding hurricane season. We also theorize that September + November have become increasingly popular with couples who maybe dreamed of an October date but they were all filled up so they chose a shoulder date/season instead.

Let's not forget April and June, where 8% of couples choose to tie the knot. We feel these months tend to rank lower mainly due to weather as they live at the extremes both hot + cold. The other factor are holidays. Some love a holiday wedding whereas other feel it would add more stress. That being said these “less popular” months will have less competition with vendors as long as you can wrangle those other logistics
